The Best Valentine's

Pat and I got the best Valentine's day presents ever!

Meet Aiden Patrick, or "Baby A" as he was previously known. He arrived at 12:01pm and weighed 4 lbs 15 oz and was 17.5 inches long.



Meet Benjamin Michael or "Baby B". He arrived at 12:02pm and was 4 lbs 5 oz and 17.5 inches long.

Neither of the boys got to come home with us, they still have a little bit of growing to do, but we are hoping that soon we will get to have our family home with us.

Operation Incubate!

So, I got a call from the doctor yesterday telling me that I have preeclampsia (high blood pressure, swelling, and decreased kidney/liver function due to pregnancy). She put me on bed rest which is the best excuse for doing nothing that I've ever heard! She also told me that she doesn't think that I will make it to March 2nd. I am OK with everything except that. My parents are flying in on Feb 28th, and I need to hold on to them until then because I don't want to do this without them here. So I am on a mission....Operation Incubate. I am bound and determained to hold on to these guys for as long as possible!

So with that in mind...any good movie suggestions?

Updates!

Here are just a couple of quick updates!

My adorable nephews celebrated their first birthday. It is so hard to believe that they are a year old already!

Beau wasn't having as much fun as Rhys was...

Natalie and sweet Tatem came to visit me! Tatem is telling us all about what she wants for Christmas.

My Future

What a Christmas present! We had decided that we did not want to know what the twins were until they were born....well, I kind of forgot to mention that fact when we went into the ultrasound on Christmas eve.

It seems that I am completely outnumbered in my home as aside from myself, everyone, including the dogs, are male.

That's right! Come March Pat and I will have two sweet little identical boys! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! Sorry Nat, this means no hair bows :)

I did not pass my first glucose tolerance test, so I had to go back today for the three hour version...oh so fun. We will find out the results later in the week, but I also got to see my little boys and they were kicking and squirming and doing everything in their power to not cooperate with the ultrasound tech. Is that proof for what my future holds?
