We got the test results back yesterday, and all is well.  We are still waiting on the extended results, but the preliminaries said that the babies are healthy.  Thank you all for your prayers!

We found out today that our twins are IDENTICAL!!!!!

We still aren't going to find out what they are, but it is exciting knowing that whatever they are, they will be the same :)

We had the amnio today, results should be back in a couple of days....please keep us in your prayers. In the mean time, here are a few new pictures!

Baby's first ultrasound

So here's the scoop, I went to the doctor last Friday and had an exam, the doctor said, "well, if I hadn't just looked at your chart, I would have thought that you were 14 weeks along, instead of 11. Let's get you in for an ultrasound to see just how far along you really are.

We had our appointment on Monday and we got to see the baby! After about 5 minutes, the technician says "and here is baby number 2..."

I of course immediatly start bawling, I couldn't believe it!

WE ARE HAVING TWINS!!!!
(baby A is on top, and baby B is on bottom)

The Legend of the Chief Okemos Council

Let me tell you a little story. There once was a beautiful young woman who worked in the front office of the Chief Okemos Council. She was very good at her job, but alas, she decided to leave. She announced her departure, and then she announced her pregnancy. I knew that I would not get to see the baby since she was moving to Idaho, and I was bitter.

Fast forward one year. There was a beautiful young woman who worked in the Scoutshop at the Chief Okemos Council. She was very good at her job, but alas, she decided to leave. She announced her departure, and then she announced her pregnancy. I knew that I would not get to see the baby since she was moving to Idaho, and I was very very bitter.

Fast forward one year. There was a beautiful young woman who worked in the Registrar's office at the Chief Okemos Council. She was very good at her job, but alas, she decided to leave. She announced her departure (August 22nd), and then she announced her pregnancy. I knew that I would get to see this baby, because it will be mine, and I was not bitter at all.

And they all lived happily ever after.
The end
